When you upload files (such as PDFs or images) to our processing tools:

• Your files are transmitted securely over encrypted HTTPS connections.
• Files are processed exclusively in transient volatile memory.
• Any temporary artifacts generated during conversion are permanently deleted immediately in a protected cleanup routine.
• We never inspect file contents, read private data, or store filenames in our databases or server logs.

2. Client-Side Browser Utilities

Our text utilities (Word Counter, Case Converter, JSON Formatter) and financial calculators (EMI, SIP, GST) execute entirely in your local browser through client-side JavaScript. Your text and calculations are never transmitted to our servers.

3. Cookies

ToolNest strictly limits cookie usage to essential functions:

• Theme Preference: Remembers your light or dark mode selection.
• Daily Usage Throttling: An anonymous, hashed counter to prevent abusive automated traffic and ensure fair server access for all visitors.

We do not use invasive tracking cookies or sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Analytics & Logging

We track aggregated usage totals (e.g. number of successful merges per day) to manage server capacity. These counters contain only aggregate integers and never record visitor IP addresses, individual user identifiers, or filenames.
